What You'll Do

Once you join SEED, you'll be able to learn consulting skills while using them for a real client conjunctionally to maximize your time using your new skills.

Don't have prior consulting experience?

Don't worry! We have a series of development trainings lined up for all new members that returning members can optionally attend. Throughout this series, we cover skills like reading a client's background information and utilizing case frameworks.

This series also covers skills you'll need when applying for an internship or a job with a consulting firm. We'll cover topics like how to cater your resume & cover letter for a firm, best utilize LinkedIn and other networking platforms, and the different types of case interviews you may get.

What Makes Us Different

There are many consulting CIOs at UVA-- why choose SEED?

  1. SEED is both McIntire and Batten affiliated which is great if you are applying for either undergraduate program!

  2. Our weekly training programs are unique to us and will better help prepare you for your work with us and in any future internships & jobs.

  3. We try to work mostly with clients in the Charlottesville area so you'll be able to see the direct impact of your work and build a deeper connection with your client.
