NEIL KOTHARI
President
Neil Kothari is a third-year at the McIntire School of Commerce, majoring in Finance, IT, and Applied Statistics. Neil works on the Credit Strategy and Capital Markets teams at GreenSky (NASDAQ: GSKY), acquired by Goldman Sachs. This summer, he will be in San Francisco a Private Equity Summer Analyst at Evergreen Services Group, backed by Alpine Investors.
Outside of SEED, Neil is involved with the McIntire Investment Institute, Waffle Wednesday, and TEDxUVA. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, and spending time outdoors.
UTKARSH CHIRIMAR
VP of Finance
Utkarsh Chirimar is a third-year in the engineering school, pursuing computer science with an engineering business minor. He has been a part of SEED since his first year and has consulted for multiple non-profits through the organization. He worked at Amazon last summer as a software development engineer intern and will be returning next summer.
Outside of SEED, he dances for Virginia Di Shaan. Aside from dancing, in his free time, Utkarsh enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
TOBIAS ABRAMENKO
VP of Projects
Tobias Abramenko is a third-year student majoring in commerce. Tobias has been involved with SEED since his second year, where he was a consultant for FinMango his first semester and became Project Lead for the second semester, and now volunteers for FinMango part-time. Tobias is passionate about fostering and expanding the symbiotic relationship SEED has with nonprofit organizations and their impactful missions.
Outside of SEED, Tobias is involved with Future Business Leaders of America (Phi Beta Lambda), The Cavalier Daily, and enjoys playing basketball and soccer.
JANE LYONS
VP Training and Development
Jane Lyons is a third-year at McIntire also pursuing a B.A. in Global Development Studies in the College of Arts & Sciences. She has been a member since the fall of her second year and has enjoyed working with various clients through SEED. Jane worked in Private Equity for Providence Strategic Growth last summer in Boston and will be joining Mckinsey & Co in the Atlanta office this summer.
Outside of SEED, Jane is involved with the alternative investment fund, honor council, and enjoys volunteering in the community. In her free time, she loves to try new workout classes, go for long walks with friends, run, and explore the Charlottesville food scene.
JACK MALCOLM
VP of Training and Development
Jack Malcolm is a third-year majoring in Economics and minoring in Statistics. He has been a member of SEED since the spring of his first year and has enjoyed working with various non-profits while with the organization. He worked for Seed Consulting Group last summer as a business strategist and will be joining Accenture Federal Services as a strategy and consulting analyst this summer.
Outside of SEED, Jack is involved with Gamma Iota Sigma. In his free time, he enjoys training his deaf puppy and long boarding.
PATRICK DUONG
Director of Finance
Patrick Duong is a second-year in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Computer Science and intending to double-major in Commerce, with concentrations in Marketing and IT. He has worked with SEED since his first semester as both a project member and project leader. He is currently researching prosocial consumer behaviors using cloud computing in McIntire, while also participating in UVA’s Propel + Capital One program.
Outside of SEED, Patrick enjoys volunteering with CASH (Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope) and a financial literacy nonprofit named FinMango. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball and Spikeball, fantasy basketball, hiking, and cooking.
COURTNEY SCHOEB
VP of Membership
Courtney Schoeb is a second year from Charlottesville, Virginia with intent to study Finance in the McIntire school of Commerce. She is also pursuing a degree in Studio Art with a concentration in painting.
Outside of SEED, Courtney is a brand consultant for WYLD leadership group, the Service Director of Kappa Alpha Theta, and serves on the Echols Scholars council. Currently, she is working on a large mural in Charlottesville in partnership with nonprofit OneLove. She is also starting up an arts organization which pairs various artists to make a work of art together, which will then be sold at auction to benefit further arts programming for the Charlottesville community. In her free time, Courtney loves to ski and be outside, as she is happiest out West.
MITCHELL CHAPIC
Director of Membership
Mitchell Chapic is a second-year from Cleveland, Ohio with intent to study Finance and Marketing in the McIntire School. With a passion for ESG, he plans to minor in Global Sustainability. His pursuance of entrepreneurship has led him to create his business, Chagrin Pro Wash Inc. This summer, he plans to expand with a focus on consumer-based marketing and profit maximization.
Outside of SEED, Mitch is involved with UVA Barbell, TEDxUVA and Tikkun Olam Makers. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering with Boy Scouts of America, golfing, fishing and weightlifting.
MABEL SMITH
Director of External Relations
Mabel Smith is a second year intending to major in Commerce at McIntire with a concentration in Finance and track in Global Commerce. She is also pursuing a minor in Biomedical Engineering. She has been a member of SEED since her first year, and has enjoyed the process of creative problem solving with clients.
Outside of SEED, Mabel is involved in Hoothon (Children’s Miracle Network), Women’s Business Forum at McIntire, Club Running, and the University Dance Club. She is also building an app, Zon Loopt Running Routes, which generates safe running routes. In her spare time, Mabel loves to run, walk with friends, dance, travel anywhere that involves a flight, and volunteer at the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA.
CIARA MOSES
Director of Training and Development
Ciara is a second-year student intending to apply to McIntire to pursue Accounting and Finance. She is originally from the Bay Area in California, but recently moved to Seattle, Washington. Within SEED, she worked as a project member for CovidWears, and most recently was project leader for the UVIMCO project. Outside of SEED, at UVA, Ciara is involved in MII, Business Ethics Society, VISAS volunteering, and Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Ciara enjoys playing tennis, skiing and hiking on the West Coast, and traveling.
