Karen is a third-year McIntire student studying Commerce with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. She has been with SEED since her first semester at UVA, working with clients in the nonprofit and startup spaces. In her free time, Karen enjoys exploring the Charlottesville food scene, playing volleyball, and binge-watching the latest comedy TV shows. She can be reached at email@example.com.
Zee Lin is a Summer Analyst in the Private Bank at JP Morgan and a fourth-year Economics and Global Development Studies student. Her experiences in Venture Capital piqued her interest in impact investing; therefore, she found SEED’s pro bono consulting work as a first step to helping the greater community. Since her second year, Zee has been involved with SEED, working with both international and local organizations. Outside of academics, Zee enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking.
Ryan Seeberger is a fourth-year student studying Finance and IT at McIntire. He has been a member of SEED since Fall 2018 and has worked on a variety of projects spanning from assessment of market expansion and industry research. Ryan has served as a project member, leader, and director during his three semesters with SEED. During his free time, Ryan loves to play guitar, go to the gym, and watch sports.
Neil Kothari is a Summer/Fall Analyst at fintech firm GreenSky and a second-year statistics (econometrics) student. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, where he developed a strong technical background that was utilized in his first project with SEED as a consultant for iXperience. He appreciates the socially-minded mission of SEED and is excited to market the organization to key stakeholders and work to move the group forward. Check out his projects at
Zach Schwertz is a third-year Commerce student from Richmond, Virginia pursuing a Finance concentration. Zach has been with SEED since his first semester at UVA and has worked with a variety of clients, providing pro-bono consulting services for start-ups, nonprofits, and social impact entrepreneurs. This year, Zach aims to increase idea-sharing and accountability among members while providing education on consulting practices and networking techniques. Outside of SEED, Zach is involved in Student Council, Madison House and Greek life, and enjoys playing basketball and going for runs.
Zara Ali is a third-year from Massachusetts double majoring in Commerce and Global Studies: Security and Justice with minors in Entrepreneurship and Religious Studies. This is her third year with SEED, now serving as co-chair of SEED's projects and client relations. Outside of SEED, Zara also serves as chair of TEDxUVA's Speakers Committee and works as an investigator/counsel for the Honor System. In her free time, she loves traveling and exploring new places, being on the water, and hanging out with friends.
Enrique Unruh is a third-year student studying data analytics and politics with a concentration in Global Development. He joined SEED in his first semester at UVA and has worked with clients in South Africa,
Paraguay, and Jordan. Outside of SEED, Enrique works for Batten’s Global Policy Center,
volunteers with Madison House, and enjoys playing on intramural soccer teams.
Eric is a fourth-year studying Systems Engineering and Economics. He joined SEED his second year and hopes to apply his experience to a career in the tech space. Outside of school, Eric enjoys skiing, being outdoors, and playing hockey for UVA’s club hockey team.
