MITCHELL CHAPIC

Co-President

Mitch is a Fourth-year from Cleveland, Ohio studying Commerce and Real Estate in the McIntire School.

COURTNEY SCHOEB

Co-President

Courtney Schoeb is a Fourth-year from Charlottesville, Virginia studying in the McIntire school of Commerce. She is also pursuing a degree in Studio Art with a concentration in painting. 

 

Outside of SEED, Courtney is a brand consultant for WYLD leadership group, the Service Director of Kappa Alpha Theta and on the executive team planning the Carniville for Charlottesville, an upcoming fundraiser benefiting three local children's organizations. In partnership with UVA Arts and WTJU radio, she's showing a mobile art exhibition in a repurposed trailer which will be traveling around to different locations this fall.  This summer, Courtney will be in San Francisco as a Private Equity Summer Analyst at Evergreen Services Group, backed by Alpine Investors. In her free time, Courtney loves to ski and be outside, as she is happiest out West.

MADELEINE MCCOLLUM

VP of Membership

Madeleine is a Fourth-year McIntire student concentrating in marketing and management and minoring in psychology at the University of Virginia. With experience in marketing strategy, graphic design, and operations, she is pursuing a career in creative consulting and advertising to help companies create branding strategies with creative, data-driven recommendations. This past summer, she interned at a tech startup called Table22 supporting their marketing and operations teams. In her free time, she likes to train for half marathons and bake with her six roommates.

GABE RAYEV

Director of Membership

Gabe Rayev is a Third-Year from Boston, MA studying commerce and statistics. This past summer, he worked at Victress Capital, and ABI New England as a finance intern. 

Outside of SEED, Gabe is involved in CASH (Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope), FBIF (Frank Batten Investment Institute), Hockey, and Greek life.

DANIEL CUDKOWICZ

Director of Membership

Daniel Cudkowicz is a Second-Year from Boston, MA studying commerce and Russian. He has a passion for problem-solving and plans to intern this summer with a data science company. He plans to break into the consulting industry after his internship.

Outside of SEED, Daniel is involved with 180 Degrees Consulting, a group focused on non-profits, and founded the Russian and Eurasian Culture Club at UVA. Additionally, he enjoys learning about effective altruism and current events. In his free time, Daniel loves to ski, hike, and DJ.

PAXTON LARSON

VP of Projects

Paxton is a Fourth-year at the McIntire School of Commerce, also studying French and Arabic. As VP of Projects in SEED, he is responsible for mentoring project leaders as teams research, create deliverables, and work with each other. Outside of SEED, he has worked as a Promazo Data Analyst for Charles Schwab for the past 8 months. This summer, he will be interning with ZS Associates in Washington DC.

 

Outside of SEED, Paxton is a trumpet player in the marching band, and also loves playing with orchestras and jazz bands. He is the President of the Charlottesville Debate League, an organization that teaches free debate programs in 12 local schools. He also enjoys creative writing and poetry and has been published two times by the Milwaukee Museum of Art.

CIARA MOSES

VP of Training and Development

Ciara is a Fourth-year student intending in McIntire pursuing Accounting and Finance. She is originally from the Bay Area in California, but recently moved to Seattle, Washington. Within SEED, she worked as a project member for CovidWears, and most recently was project leader for the UVIMCO project. Outside of SEED, at UVA, Ciara is involved in MII, Business Ethics Society, VISAS volunteering, and Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Ciara enjoys playing tennis, skiing and hiking on the West Coast, and traveling.

MABEL SMITH

VP of External Relations

Mabel Smith is a Fourth-year at McIntire and also pursuing a minor in Biomedical Engineering. She is currently studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. She has been a member of SEED since her first year and has enjoyed the process of creative problem-solving with clients. Mabel taught mobile app development to high school girls in Houston, Texas before studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain last summer. She will be joining Guggenheim Partners as a Summer Analyst in New York City this summer.

 

Outside of SEED, Mabel is a McIntire Student Ambassador and Reformed University Fellowship. She is also building an app, Zon Loopt Running Routes, which generates safe running routes. In her spare time, Mabel loves to run, go to spin class, walk with friends, travel, and volunteer at the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA.

Cathrine Irons

VP of Training and Development

Catherine Irons is a Fourth-year student studying Systems Engineering with minors in Data Science and Engineering Business. She is from Northern Virginia, and is currently studying abroad for the semester in Vienna, Austria. She has been a member of SEED since her second year and has enjoyed applying her problem-solving skills to work towards creative solutions for clients. She will continue to do so as an Associate Consultant Intern for Bain & Company this summer. 


Within SEED she worked as a Project Leader for Artisan Global, a Ugandan-based non-profit, as well as EarthCups, a sustainability start-up. Outside of SEED, Catherine is involved with Virginia Consulting Group, Engineers Going Global, Alpha Phi Sorority, Catholic Hoos, and serves as a Teaching Assistant and Tutor in the Engineering School. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and with family and friends.

NEEL KULKARNI

Director of External Affairs

Neel Kulkarni is a Third-year from Herndon, Virginia pursuing a degree in Commerce and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Neel joined SEED in his first year and has worked with a number of clients such as The Conversationalist, a digital platform empowering Gen Z to have echo-chamber-breaking conversations.

 

Outside of SEED, Neel is a student manager for UVA women's basketball and has his own career exploration podcast, Excel Podcasts. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, cooking, and trying new restaurants in Charlottesville.

WILLIAM YU

VP of Finance

William Yu is a Third-year with intended concentrations in Finance and Management at the McIntire School of Commerce. He joined SEED in his first year and has enjoyed the client-facing experience that SEED provides. William previously served as a project leader for FinMango.

 

Outside of SEED, William is involved in the McIntire Investment Institute, Alpha Epsilon Pi, and serves as a Program Director for CASH (Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope). He is currently interning as a ProMazo Fellow for Charles Schwab and will be interning for Dominion Energy this summer. In his free time, William likes to read books about the energy transition, play pool with his friends, and cheer on the Baltimore Ravens even though they break his heart every year!

NICHOLAS TELESCA

Director of Finance

Nicholas Telesca is a Third-year with intended concentrations in Finance and Accounting at the McIntire School of Commerce. After helping advise a company on their sale to a Charlottesville Private Equity firm at his previous consulting internship, Nicholas hopes to continue growing those skills in the Investment Banking industry.

 

Outside of SEED, Nicholas is involved in CASH (Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope), the Virginia Venture Fund (VVF), and serves on the executive board of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, playing the guitar, and listening to country music.

DANNY BRONFMAN

Director of Finance

Danny is a Third-year on the pre-commerce track with a double major in Psychology and a minor in Data Science. He joined SEED his first year and has worked with clients on both the local and national levels on topics ranging from high school admissions to 3D bone imaging. He has experience in operations and consulting through his summer internship with a boutique political consulting firm in Washington, D.C.

 

Outside of SEED, he volunteers with CASH(Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope) Club and is a Lead Research Assistant at the JADE Lab, a psychology lab researching office psychology and decision-making. He also enjoys playing IM Sports and won InnerTube Water Polo his first year.
